Maybe I"ll buy this coin, it's not mine yet.
What do you think about it?
    Condition, color, price range?
Please feel free to tell me your opinion. Thanks.

Scans kill the luster, but I see EF-45/AU-50

I'll go EF-45 with an old, old cleaning that would be overlooked by a grading company.

    Very nice XF-45;)

    Looks like Overton 118

1832, O-118, Small Letters, Capped Bust, Half Dollar
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Stars 8 and 13 are each slightly less than 1/2 mm. from cap and curl. Date is 8 mm.and low. with a 3 more slender and open than most. This is another laced lips obverse (See O-101 and O-102)

Reverse- 50 C. is 1 1/2 mm. A thick stubby topl on 5 and 50 is very close together. Arrow to A is slightly less than 1 mm. I is centered under left side of T. A small notch creates the double corner on shield.

It sure would look nice along side of my 53 other 1832 Capped Bust halfs ;)

Nice looking coin and probably in the XF-AU range and agree that it probably had been cleaned at one time. I'm still looking for one for my type set album and this one would look good in it.

You can get PCGS low AU coins for that money or two XF ones

Is that slabbed or RAW ?? Seems high to me.
Most I have paid for a RAW AU 1832 is $165

I agree completely! This coin is way overpriced at $390.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I think it makes AU, but I agree that it has an old cleaning. This type of coin would get certified any day.

I think everyone is high on this one especially as how tough pcgs is on busties lately xf 40 max. Nice surfaces though possibly not original

I don’t think it has any chance at AU and would rather say VF-35 or XF-DET/cleaned. Asking price is a bit high and 1832 is a common year too, so there’s no reason for compromises.

I’m pretty much in agreement. Was a tough call 35-40 for me but thought the luster would give it a bump. I think it’d grade straight though
