    Thks ,Got a question what is the 82 D penny suppose to weigh ,in asking because I've got 2 that are weighing out differently but could be ones more worn correct??

    In 1982 the Cent was made on 2 different materials. Beginning of 1982 they were made on Copper which weighed 3.1g and mid 1982 they switched to Copper Plated Zinc which weigh less. All Cents after 1982 are struck on Copper Plated Zinc.
