I was wondering how the Ancient Roman monetary system worked. Particularly what the "face value" of their coins were. In my research I found this article with exactly what I was looking for. https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/...e/the-monetary-history-of-the-roman-republic/ I learned a lot and figured I would share the info. It is definitely worth reading.
Yeppers...I nice read and a perfect length article for...well, um...well, you know, um...enjoying a daily constitutional.
So I have a question about part of this article. The article states Could this be where the term "Face Value" came from?
..i'm inclined to believe that it is.. while the term "face value" has defining meaning, there's no information on whence it came
The only appropriate answer is ....and everyone say it with me....very carefully! Thank you...I’ll be here til Thursday...try veal and please, please tip your waiters!
