Hi all, Welcome to my 11,000th Post! Today I am really grateful for something wonderful that happened.. I had a thread I created actually FEATURED on CoinTalk! Today I want to share my latest Mint Error acquisition. It is a Mexico (1970-83) 50 Cent Struck 70% Off Center Enjoy
The strike has elongated the coin. If you were to draw an arc where the original bottom would be, this seems to be over 80%. (Looks to be 90%) So they include the entire shape when figuring out how much is off center? And they are grading just the coin strike area for the MS 63 grade or the unstruck planchet too?
