Not necessarily. From what I’ve read gold stickers mean the coin would easily get the green at the next higher grade.

I wouldn’t want either coin. At MS60/61 both are hideous dogs.

"We" meaning the persons he's asking the question to? Duh? He's assuming "we" give a horse's-ass about plastic and stickers, and that's not true (although, I know some of "us" do; that's all some of "us" know how to collect).

So let me get this straight . Your saying a gold sticker is worth 1 1/2 points? WHAT? So the next sticker is a platinum followed by the palladium then unobtainium hell next thing you know the coin is an MS107 ++++ Put enough pluses on and it will look like a positive EBay response.
I wish it was a joke, I’m not lol.

And I trust I shan't have to add where I believe "we" who tend to do that can stick them...

Well I just tried to start and interesting thread and you pretentious collectors couldn't get off your high horse. This was fun. We should do it again sometime.

Learn from what has been said. You are getting the opinions you need to form your own opinion. There is no need to get insulting. Roll with it and learn.

If you don't understand it, don't play the game. Please take the time to understand it before you make fun of it. It's here and it's real. It's also big money for those that care to play the game.

This time of year I prefer my beans in chili! As for the two coins, I'd choose the one with the best eye appeal.

Definitely the gold. A gold cac stickered coin is almost always very undergraded and almost always eye appealing. And they sell very fast. I had a dime was pr 63 gold cac was basically a 64+ or lower end 65 that I sold for 65 money. Had a couple late date walkers in 65 gold cac that I sold for 67 money. Also know of a 61 gold seated half that upgraded to a ms 64 which is a top pop (55-s) Something about the gold beans is magical

Can I buy an empty slab with just a gold sticker on it?

I understand what you guys are saying...buy the coin and not the slab. That’s good advice. But let’s at least answer the OPs very simple question.

As a general rule, the market says the MS60 with a gold sticker is the better choice. The gold sticker coins tend to sell for very large premiums much greater than one grade point.

I’d even argue that in many cases an MS60 with gold CAC will sell for more than an MS62 with a green CAC.

Who needs the coin anyways? It would seem that the slab and stickers are what is worth the money. You can slab a foil imprint and it’s worth money with the right sticker/slab combo.
And next year a new bean and a new bean and a new bean.........got to keep bonuses fat at the top.

Of course the coin is worth the money...but there is value in the slab too. People who don’t see that are just being foolish.

No. It's the coin, the slab and the stickers that are worth the money. Any collector starts with the coin. The other stuff becomes important when it's time to sell it.
