A friend of mine was given this note by his grandfather and was wondering what info he might get, condition, possible value? I am not familiar with Canadian notes so your help would be greatly appreciated and thanks so much. Tom
Yeah, I noticed that and the center fold. Still has nice bold color though. I'd be curious to know if this is considered a low print run or not. I have no experience with these except for a few rags that have passed my way.
The folds are not to good neither It is interesting how they use the same exact font in the words ONE DOLLAR as the US bill.. I wonder what is the reason for that?

The portrait on the face is George V, and the building is the Library of Parliament, still standing in Ottawa today. Looks like a place I'd visit if I ever took a trip up North.
