Hi friends we recently purchased from a famous well know coin dealer the coin dealer has removed the images of the coin from the website but I kept screen shots he also informed us that he has never heard of this machine sigma used on graded coins and that all pcgs coins are guaranteed to be real! However I am not sure what it is worth even if the coin looks good but slab is not looking good and the coin shows not real gold on my sigma test but I dont know what to look for in the slab looks odd has brown stuff on the corner inside the plastic and tests shows negative on the 90% gold test. However the tests work on my other same type coins I will upload some pictures and a video To help in my search for information. I am asking the communitys help in determining if it’s a good coin or truly a fake slab and if it’s real what is it’s value retail. Your ideas and advice is welcome we are new to the community and coins. We are trying to make sure we understand what’s fake and what’s real thanks in advance your knowledge in the area is welcome!!! ![/size=3][umm] Thank You!!!!!!! Cheers.

I don't understand what you are trying to determine... aren't you supposed to actually be touching the gold to determine if it is real gold or not? It's inside a slab.
To make educated decisions from photo's You would need good photos of the coin, both the obv. and rev. Post them in full size not thumb nails.
I used a precious metal verifier to check the gold content is as described. When I scan though, the machine shows that it is not gold. I also compared with other samples and the machine reads them. How can I confirm authenticity without removing the coin?
I don't understand your gold verifier machine. What numbers does it have to show to determine if it is gold? What numbers show for other coins you have slabbed?
I scanned the coin with a Sigma Metalytics PMV (original) http://www.sigmametalytics.com/instructions/pmv-video.html When I scan other coins with of similar gold content of 90% with a wand, the reading lies between 10.50 to 11.60 but with this coin I have a reading of around 15. Also I placed the coin on the verifier platform and the arrow points toward the right end side. I also noticed the liberty sticker (circular) does not reflect with light, is monotone silver. When checking at the PCGS museum, I saw no similar sticker.
I am not sure why you don't want to post clear photos of the obv and rev. They would sure help get you help.
I don't see anything that screams counterfeit. Also, I have not heard of anyone counterfeiting CAC stickers. However, counterfeit PCGS slabs do exist. So here is a helpful link for diagnosing counterfeit slabs: https://www.thespruce.com/fake-pcgs-slab-diagnostics-4071199
The corner looks cracked, but I am not sure I would say tampered with. Some more educated on gold coins members will chime in soon, I have only a couple pieces, therefore exclude myself from authentication. Hang in there, they will be along soon.
This does not take much to know to send this one to PCGS. Get it re-slabbed and your good to go. It’s a real coin inside not a foil imprint so don’t worry. It’s the only way your gonna know for sure. Reed
