It can yes, I actually posted a thread today asking if anyone could tell a good on line site where I could purchase 5 to 10 thousand wheats , in bulk as I know there probably are not any unsearched cents , I figured I'd go but quantity , than quality.
Chris I get it. Of course I’d buy the certified coin. If I had $10,000 in the game it wouldn’t be at EBay though! Reed.
I have no idea what you are seeing on the reverse to make you think doubled die? The obverse however....See how it isn't flat and shelf-like? This is true hub doubling. http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1972&die_id=1972p1do001&die_state=eds
The coin I posted is mine...The obverse is an example of Class 1 hub doubling. There is no doubling on the reverse what-so-ever...
What the heck was I looking at? I didn't even notice the date and lettering was doubled, only the words on the reverse and the head of Lincoln and lincolns back shoulder.
Ive lost my mind, LOL , you people have me lozing it. You have a very nice coin now that I see it for what it is. I saw it on a site somewhere yesterday also. I think I did anyway
It takes some much longer to learn than others, and most don't actually get it until they have found one, Cherry picked in MS or AU. there is a difference between looking at a bunch of photos and actually hold one in your hand.
Cool you got me. Now do you or anyone know of a good site to buy bulk wheat cents or bank rolls of wheat cents,??
