    What's up errbody?:cool:

    I hope y'all had a fantastic Christmas and that 2018 brings you pure awesomeness and sweet coins!

    My niece really appreciated her coins. Thank you so much!

    I thought this year was going to suck for my collection because I had very little extra funds. But, it turns out that this was the best year yet, this is thanks to the awesome generosity of good friends here at ACF.

    Wowzers!!!!!

    A few of the highlights:

    Herod the Great 8 protut, First Jewish War prutah, Pontius Pilate prutah, Galerius follis, MFB, Faustina denarius, Herod Anchelaus prutah, Seleukid bottle cap, etc. etc.!!

    Each coin is a highlight and awesome addition to my collection. Once again, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your support and generosity!!!:D

    NICE Erin! Both YOUR collection and your bother's. I am really jonesin' on the Ptolomaic 1/4 ma'ah-obol and the AV Daric. Both very cool to me! My old eyes cannot see your coins from the managerie, but they all look fun!

    Sorry about the suckage of the first pic. My dad brought my coins over because I wanted to get a group pic and didn't have enough time to take individual pics.

    The majority of the coins in the group shot were gifts. :) Setting them up made me realize again just how incredibly blessed I am to have such awesome friends here.:jawdrop::)

    My bro really likes the cartoonish face on the daric, that's what sold him on it.

    I asked him if he wanted to play hockey with Ptolemy when I was home for Christmas. :cool::wacky:

    LOL, too funny. Looking at the Daric face reminds me of the Goons characters from Popeye when I was a kid!

    Great year Erin :) I like them all but the daric and the 8 Prutot are my favorites.

    It's a pleasure having you and your brother here to nerd out on ancient coins with :bookworm::bucktooth::D

    Thanks everybody!

    My bro's favourite is definitely the daric.

    I have a hard time picking out a favourite, especially among the gifted coins because there's a reason why each one was gifted and I don't want to put on one's thought for gifting above another. They are all equally generous!

    From your listing, it seems you can now be considered a 'generalist' collector like so many of us....although I'm not entirely sure that is a good thing or not since it leaves so many unlimited choices;) and I always feel like a kid at a candy store when I scroll auctions:p

    Naturally, the gold daric and the Ptolemy 'hockey puck' jump off the screen for me:hungry:. I hope this coming year will be as successful:)

    My main focus is on Biblical coins. But, I really enjoy having some coins from other areas as part of my collection too.

    Every year I binge on "What I Got For Christmas" videos on YouTube.

    I just realized that I get as excited about coins as just about all the girls get about makeup and designer whatever. Like giddyish. o_O
