Interesting damage but damage non the less...or do I have one of those one of a kind road rash coins thats going to make me rich . It looks like someone was trying to make a tie die Lincoln lol.
I know, just making a joke about all of the recent one of a kind road rash coins that have been posted.
wait I was suppose to argue how I know it's a real error because some local pawn shop employee told me it was and how I'm convinced even though one of the foremost error and variety experts just told me it was damage i'm still going to spend money to send in and have verified and then never post the results
Eric, you've been around here long enough to know better. Shame on you for suggesting that it should be sent in to be authenticated. You know darn good and well that there is always someone snooping around that will believe what you say. Chris
Eric, I missed the joke, but I see, after reading the first post, and your last one, that you were (correctly!) pointing out all the bogus coins that end up here in front of us all. I guess because of the long holiday, I hadn't seen any in a few days, and thought it was 'real' - now that I get your sense of humor I'll try not to be so serious in my replies! Yea, where are all the posted PCGS/NGC certified coins that some others swore were genuine and rare error coins?
Sad thing is that you are right and that's why there has to be signs that says caution hot in front of stoves. Heaven help us all lol.
No problem. I say you see so many posts that people argue their last breath that what they have is a genuine error its hard not to be jaded.
Looks like the one in the date is doubled on the obverse. On the reverse the N in ONE also looks doubled. It could be some machine doubling, but, the pic is a little blurry. You might want to look in the CBG and see if there is a listing for a doubled die. Pocket Change for Dummies. If that title gets used I want some royalties to buy more coins.
I'll upload 30+ of the same pic so you can see where the doubling is...lol. You might want to have pocket change for dummies copyrighted
........and, I'm sure you know that there will always be someone who will get burned just to see if the stove is turned on or not. Chris
Never happen! All the dummies will contend in court that it took them years to perfect their "abilities". Chris
