I am no selling or advocating this sales site as one of the moderators last time indirectly implied I was. 11 people favored this coin. https://www.etsy.com/listing/571746457/1967-lincoln-cent?ref=shop_home_active_2 https://www.etsy.com/listing/566852177/1969s-lincoln-cent?ref=shop_home_active_8
The same applies for both coins. Chris PS. I'd like to add that if the seller is not an idiot, then he is a crook.
You would think the 1969 S would be worth more than the 1967... It's more sought after! these are really sad listings
Etsy, Listia and Webstore all have more than their fair share of total amateurs, with poor photos, erroneous info and all sorts of people who can't even spell correctly. They are not monitored correctly by any standard and Listia does not even follow it's own posted rules a lot of the time. And wasn't Etsy originally intended to be a crafts store? Best to stay away from these types of mixed up sites and not be conned. I recently had to correct someone about their posting of a coin from the Crusades time period. They had it in the 16th century. I corrected them maturely and they posted back gratefully. But not knowing your history can lead to some very misleading when buying something. The people who own these sites should have mods with more info so these types of listings get removed more quickly. Wishful thinking I suppose. Caveat Emptor.
I saw one site on Etsy some time back that had coins from the 1830s and 1840s and called them Civil War Era coins.
1842 Civil War Era Dime--this is not the site I originally saw but still listing of dates? https://www.etsy.com/listing/503136...689bc8503c8ce8765e1f3abc3ded7210195:503136907
https://www.bonanza.com/items/search?q[filter_category_id]=253 This is one of the worst rated on-line sellers--the reviews are unreal (bad) from sellers and buyers https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/bonanza.com
