I've often wondered why an extremely ordinary coin of a type you've seen hundreds of times can suddenly seem like there is something wildly different about it the next time you see the same coin. Really, how many times have any of you glanced through your pocket change and your eyes got stuck on a coin that has no distinguishing features but suddenly seems to look odd for some reason?

 

No one else see the letters PMD on Lincoln`s shoulder ?

If I squint I can say those incidental bumps look a little like 'PMD'. But if I just look where you have indicated I see incidental bumps that look something like 'IHP'...

 

There’s something there but I think Abe is just pulling our leg.

 

Dandruff is all I can see there.

I see a well stuck Reverse and a average struck Obverse. Hard to tell from two pictures the grade but at least EF40 Bn.
