I'm really happy here right now. We are getting sticking snow on Christmas Eve which only happens once every 20 years or so. The kids are just loving it!!

 

Couldn't wait any longer. Needed something to do while dying here with the flu. Thanks Santa. You know my style!

No, I'm in the PacNW in the Portland, OR area. We are lucky to get 1 snow event per year with accumulation. So it's extra exciting when it happens on Christmas.

Couldn't wait any longer. Thank you SS! I am very appreciative and like these a lot! I didn't have any of these, so it will add to my collection. 2002 mint Uncirculated sets, 2002 Proof set, 2002 ASE, and a USB flash drive. I guess I need to save some pictures.

This Morgan dollar and a nice card came from our friend @SilverMike. In his note, he mentioned that he wanted to get me something from the New Orleans mint because it's my home town, but I wondered if he knew that I worked at a coin shop that was inside the old mint building for a couple of weeks (just filled in as a favor to a friend), and that my Great-Grandfather worked at the mint for several years. We aren't sure when he started working at the mint, but this may have been made during his time there.
Thank you for the thoughtful and generous gift Mike, I am going to add it to the family collection where it will be passed down (hopefully) forever. Either that, or it will be part of what my son cashes in to buy video games as I'm spinning in my grave.
