Dimes - Metal Detecting Totals - Thread #2

Hi all,
I just finished counting the Dimes I have found at beaches and parks while Metal Detecting over the past 7 years.
The total was 1794 Dimes
With the sum of $179.40

This count does not include my silver and damaged finds.

How many of these are silver versus worthless?

I've only metal detected a few times, but my dad was crazy about it when I was in high school.

One time, we went to the plantation owned by the guy that "Rhett Butler" from "Gone with the Wind" was based off of. The plantation is a few miles from my house.

We found this coin, quite a bit more modern than ole Rhett, but still quite cool:

@paddyman98 - That is GREAT!! What are you going to do with it? Anything special? Did you find any silver dimes in all those years?

 

My wife and I are going to start rolling them up to take to my bank.
I have found a few silver Quarters and Dimes.. They are not part of the count.
I might do a thread just on the silver finds in the near future!
