I’d definitely send to cac. Reason I said about the crackout is I see way to many eye appealing coins id call 58 in 62-3 holders. I will say the last couple years pcgs has been really tough and very conservative in their grading an awful lot of coins I send that have good surfaces are an almost automatic cac too as they’re very conservative in their grades
Yeah it's definitely more eye appealing than every gold 62 I've owned even if minimal wear. Maybe it's just the ones I've owned but have had 5-6 MS61-62s and all have been unattractive dull coins. I'll take one with a little wear that's gleaming like this one any day. I'll toss it in the going to CAC pile and hope for the best. Even with the big jump to UNC I don't think I'll play the crackout game with it anytime soon. I always lose at that game lol
Tho my pics suck I don’t agree with pcgs on this one. I can’t see any wear anywhere I figured it at 62 sent it twice. It’ll go to cac next
The graders might be looking at the scattered contact marks and random, multi-directional hairlines (which are easy to see in your photos) and seeing it as evidence of circulation. It probably doesn't rise to the level of damage or "cleaned" but still isn't typical of an uncirculated coin.

Hairlines are polish lines. Why the semi pl appearance. Not as bright in person either. Those pics were at night with a basically work lamp lighting the room (living room not at all done in my probably lifelong house restoration project)
This may not be as shiny as some of my other Buffaloes, but it marks the completion of a Buffalo year set for me, with a duplicate or two and a handful of D and S mints thrown in. Maybe I'll try to get a photo of the herd one of these days.
Picked this up a couple of nights ago, Ill add it to me interesting mercury dimes set along with 2 broadstrikes, a couple fantastic toners, a proof 66 and some clipped planchets. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1944-MERCU...ucvWEB00dCx%2FfnVas9I%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
