    Yes that’s a nice little die crack, its easy to miss those tiny little cracks. Good eye. Problem is all the PMD takes away from the desirability of the coin as a collectible. Generally die cracks don’t add any premium to the value of a coin and can detract instead.

    I love them also. You get on streaks and slumps finding them for sure. Keep focused on what the coin is supposed to look like and the oddities pop right up. Fun for sure! Keep on hunting.

    That old cent looks abused. Ha, ha! Interestingly, I once bought a 1925-S Lincoln cent, and did not even discover it was an S over S variety until several month's later when routinely examining it. The dealer who sold it to me did not catch that error either.
