I appreciate all the guesses, what's the protocol on showing the grade on the holder? how long should I make everyone wait?

Why do I get the feeling you started this thread because they gave it an "altered surfaces?"

I was thinking the same thing. Either way I like the coin.

I'll guess 66. beautiful coin . If I post a GTG I usually announce when I will reveal the grade.. I like to give at least 48hrs for folks like me who don't check in every day.

Well, it's considered classified but there was allegedly one SLQ graded MS70 at the E_ W___ School of Coincraft and Office Architecture grand opening. The headmaster (E_) dubbed himself Supreme Master Coinsman of the United States and Aruba and ceremoniously passed out never-before-documented MS70 coins from his private collection for show and tell to the cheers of his awestruck padawans.

Whether they actually were MS70 is anyone's guess... legend says the collection is floating on a private yacht somewhere in the Caribbean, but it is equipped with a state of the art cloaking device so good luck finding it.

    (Identities hidden for personal protection.)

    Oh yeah... MS65FH.

The jig is up! You guys have guessed it, submitted this just recently at the Las Vegas PCGS Members only show and was baffled to get it back as cleaned. I don't see what the graders saw and couldn't really ask as PCGS was packing up to head back to SoCal and no one was available to go over the results.

Whenever I see coins this incredible in a details slab, I say to myself, "They were too scared to straight grade it."

A luster bomb. I like the die cracks on both the sides of the obverse and the one on the wing. As to the cleaning details that’s just pure bs. They just want more submission money. I’d call it a ms 66 full head myself.

I was at cleaned. But I don't know why. Never seen such a nice SLQ,
but something was wrong. How can they tell it was cleaned? They are just guessing.
It can't be MS-details? How is this UNC- details?

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Your pictures don't show the cleaning, but PCGS experts had it in hand. I'm guessing there is something your pictures aren't showing.

My guess was 65FH. There must be something when you tilt it?

I was going to say MS 66 all day long. Interesting results. I would resubmit.
