Guess the Grade 1928-s 25c Standing Liberty Quarter

    Is that a small die crack going from the branch that Liberty holds to the coin edge?

    Actually, it looks like it starts at the I in LIBERTY.

    Yes, die cracks down from the I in Liberty, one also through the top of Y

    MS66, but the reverse would grade higher! Beautiful reverse.

    A really nice SLQ, but I think you guys are 1-2 points too high... while the luster seems to be outstanding, there are a couple of hits and the strike is weak on the shield.

    i have found hundreds of standing liberty quarters thats the best one i ever seen,usally date is first to go on theses like buffalos

    There are a few SLQ's graded 68, and a couple graded 69. There are no MS-70s.

    And this coin is FAR from a 70.

    I'm not sure if your guess was a joke, or if you seriously think this is a 70?

    not of that coin but others ms 70 is right below proof
