coina[1].jpg coinb[1].jpg I bought $5 in pennies hoping to find a 92 close am or really anything of value... I did find several double dies...... but let me get to the point... I opened up a roll and saw an aluminum colored coin... or maybe dull silver.... but it is almost the size of a penny, but just a little smaller. And it only weighs 1.17 grams!! I can make out an eagle... kind of like the nazi eagle from Hitler's days but it has maybe Korean or Japanese writing. Looks like an 8 above the eagle.
The reverse has maybe a flower?? Im not sure.. I will post several pics. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks everyone! Now that I used my phone to take some pics... the eagle might be a hummingbird.. I dont know??

Yikes, looks like a Hiroshima or Nagasaki veteran. Let's do the math. 0.03 grams of material missing. E=mc^2. ... Yup, I can say categorically it would have tales to tell.

Hey, he spared us the need to debunk them. Give him the credit due.

My dad has found a couple of dimes and a 2 cent Euro in penny rolls this year.
We've also found a couple of 1913 shield nickels but tossed them in the ocean.

Damages. The only thing that "leaves" is your judgment.

    Bit-o-info for ya Newb.
That coin would only have value in that condition IF and only if it is one of two or three coins from the entire Lincoln history that are Uber rare. 1909 S VDB, 1914D are two that come to mind. Other than super rare coins or gold or silver coins any coin in this condition isn’t worth any more that face value and as such warrants ZERO time looking at it. Just my opinion though if it’s your newest fav I’m sorry I don’t have your same views.
    Sincerely,
    Reed

Neither of which is "uber rare" or even remotely "rare" in the general sense, but certainly are popular.

True but only a few Lincoln cents are valued over double digit prices in AG condition or under. I bet you could sell that for $300.00 or more on EBay if it was a 1914D in that condition and full brown.
