I went threw thousands of pennies looking for that doubled die and I found it eyes all watery looking threw the scope and finally on the obverse side the" IN " is really tall the " E " is doubled the "U" is doubled I am praying I'm a 100% right on this
I think what you're seeing is die deterioration doubling (DDD). Sorry, but it doesn't look like the real thing to me.
Can you see it clearly? My pics don't come in really clear I thought machine doubling but looking in my friends scope I saw more profound imaging and in the the words in god we t they look more doubled than die deterioration the "D" in god you can see really good I'll try to crop them in hopes they come out better
I definitely see what you're looking at on the "D" but it really does just look like die deterioration to me. There are plating bubbles all around the cent and I see evidence of false doubling on some other letters too. I'm sure you'll find something nice if you keep looking but I don't think this is the one. Good luck
I'm addicted to doing this now lol I used to go to the bank buy 100 bankroll half dollars found some silver ones now I order sealed $500 sealed boxes lol I'm driving my woman crazy with this my next box comes in on the 30 th I'm anxious to see what I get in them.
Gator, you really are going about this all bass ackward. There are dates with, and dates WITHOUT recognized doubled die examples. There is no recognized 1994-D DDO. At this point, if you keep this up, you'll be lucky to evade "gunplay" on the part of "your woman". Put. Down. The. Scope.
I do at some point or she sneaks them out on me and goes to the bank lol I spread some halves around to my buddy's gas station he hands them out for change he collects them to
At least go read this page before you end up without your woman: http://www.lincolncentforum.com/the-non-hub-doubling-resource-page/
