Howdy folks, Round this time of year, we all like to make sound purchases where applicable. These 2 coins i would consider to be = 1 good deal and 1 great deal, but which is which??? Try and guess which coin (in your opinion) is the better buy, factoring that 1 was only $15 more than the other. This is ALSO a (very tough) guess the grade with atleast 2 terrible sets of photos sorry
I will go ahead and give the reveal since noone is likely to figure it out. Coin #1> Mintage 4,448 -Pop 2 (3 higher) 5 total in all grades at PCGS. Paid $40 Coin #2> mintage 41,920,000 -Pop 2,616 (3,560 higher) FB and micro s examples add another 4000-5000 to pop reports. Paid $25 Coin 1 is now the rarest coin in my collection. I cant even find a sold example to compare prices with. Are US coins over priced nowadays OR are foreign coins underpriced ?Which is which ???
The funny part is, your 3 pence piece could be in a low ball set. It is, after all, tied for the lowest graded one out there....
