If you don't collect anymore why are they there cuz if you're getting them in change I'm there! BTW I just checked my pockets. LINT.
Call it habit if nothing else. Even though I don't collect any more I am still very connected to this hobby, kind of hard not to be after 46 years of collecting. But I have carried a $50 AGE in my pocket, every single day, for many years. I will til the day I die. I always kind of figured it made me unique since I have never ever heard, or seen, anyone else who did this. And by doing so I have probably managed to get several hundred people involved in the hobby. For there is nothing quite like a 1 oz gold coin to spark someone's interest.
Good thing you don't live in NYC. Is it in a plastic case, or is it just in your pocket? What other coins do you still have, or is that your only one? Phoenix
It's just in my pocket. I've posted pics before. obverse - reverse. That is just the most recent one, there have been others, but I spent them
You've made a good point there - maybe I'll start carrying a V nickel (hey I'm cheap). Very few budding lint collectors out there.

Wow, nice. When you spend that one, I'll be at the supermarket you spend it at, and I'll be your cashier, lol. Phoenix
