Your question is way too vague. Do you want to know about prices? Do you want to know if anyone else collects them? Do you want to know about the grades of your coins? Do you want to know if this is a market segment that is currently hot? We can (probably) help you if you narrow down your inquiry *just* a bit.
They are collected so there is a market. Value depends solely on grade and dates. Can you post photos?
A great deal of Irish coinage information can be found with the link below, in the decimal era: http://www.irishcoinage.com/MODCOIN.HTM Irish annual sets can be found as very common to extremely rare. Ireland had, and still has with the euro, a very conservative coinage issuing history.
What you show is all relatively modern, circulated, and quite common. These pieces are essentially pocket change, and worth basically face value.
Is there really face value anymore? Isn’t Ireland circulating the euro? But I agree...this is basically pocket change.
I found the coins in a abandoned home and yes Ireland does use Euro as we are apart of the European Union we no longer use the Irish Pound
That’s what I thought. So what you have is circulated demonitized pocket change. Coins like these find themselves into cheap bulk foreign coin lots or 10 cent bins. Nothing special but kinda neat.
The actual Irish pound was only issued as a coin for four or five years in the 90s to 2000. I like the deer-type animal on them. They sell for a few dollars if they're in decent shape.
