I’m in Branson, MO all this week. The closest town with a branch of one of my banks is Springfield, MO. About forty miles away. Unless I can get over there I guess there will be no hunting this week. I’ll have 2 boxes waiting Monday when I get back to Mississippi.

6 boxes of halves this week. 5.5 so far are all 94,98, and 00s. Half a box left but it doesn't look good.

Visit some banks for CWRs! Many won’t ask if you have an account.

Yes indeed! Did that visiting my Mom in the Houston area for Thanksgiving and got (2) 40%ers Kennedys and my first silver Ike. They did ask if I had an account. I told them no, visiting my mom from out of town. They sold them to me anyway...

I find that as long as your nice about it, they really don't care if you have an account... especially because it seems all bank tellers hate halves and ikes. If they seem weary about selling them to me i usually say do you really want those in your tray :)!

I found 2 proofs in second box the other day. (As seen in last picture). They don’t look too beaten up but have a lot of haze. My question is does acetone remove this? If so, how long of a soak?

Yes, acetone should remove the haze on a proof coin...short soak.

Finished my box of cents for last night.
Ended up with 15 wheaties (oldest was 1929)
Coolest find was a 1938 KGVI Canadian 1c. It is a hole filler for my Canadian cent folder. 18 million minted.

Hey everyone second 4 boxes for the week yielded 1-67 SMS ?, 2-68's, 1-NIFC-17 D. I am going to double check to ensure the 67 is a SMS, It has mirror fields and looks like other SMS's I have pulled, it needs more review. Keep the posts coming and please posts pictures.

Finished another box of cents. 14 wheats (oldest 1919). This purdy 57P was in there also. I love pulling red wheats from rolls.
