Sorry man, but no. What FRB? If its Minneapolis, possibly. But only in the right shape. I set aside a 1996 $20 a while back but ended up using it to grab an older $20 that one of my tellers set aside. Good luck though and keep looking
Oh and not to mention, I just grabbed a 1996 NY $20 and $50 star from my teller not but a week or two ago. Usually, if you can still find star versions of an older type of currency, that currency is still common because stars are the first thing everybody sucks out of circulation when a new type of currency is released. And, you'd be absolutely shocked to find out how many small head $5's-$100's I've gotten from my bank. Some people don't even suggest that those are worth keeping (I do though), let a lone a '96 big head $20. If I were you and wanted to get an older type note to set aside, I'd run down to the local bank and ask them to try and set a side a small head type bill for you though. Those are going to start becoming harder and harder to find, IMO. But then again, with the downturn of the economy, people are spending their small heads, so idk its totally hit and miss.
Thanks that's all I needed to know, I've been dying to spend it but wasn't sure if it was worth much.
I'm also from the camp of keeping 90's small heads! Again condition is important. A common for me would need to be in Choice or a high end AU and higher denomination is a plus, else it's LYNDT WHITE CHOCOLATE time ;P
All I can say is this; In 1999, the exchange rate between the Canadian dollar and the US dollar was .75 to $1. Today at this moment, it is sadly $1.02 to $1. I sure wish I would have had the oppertunity to grab some Canadian cash back in the day! I sure hope it bounces back!!
Litterally at this rate, soon it will be. It's just a matter of weather it will continue this drop rate, or not. Pray, pray, pray that the dollar will bounce back. Otherwise, soon you'll be chasing Canadian tourests when they come down here to sell them some 'chillete' and when they drop a Canadian dollar bill, you'll chase it down and fight the guy next to you for it haha. That would be horrible, and it is extremely unlikely, yet possible.
I have a $20 bill 1996 series with the numbers on it starting with AJ. Is it just another $20 or is it worth anything?
First, welcome to the neighborhood, Tony! You would probably get a better response if you started your own thread and posted photos of your specimen. Chris
Does anybody know anything about the president gold dollar coin values and what it's worth if I have all the presidents
