What is a 2000 p dime clash?

    What causes this.and is it worth looking for? thanks for any help.

    It is exactly what it says. The dies "clash" together without a coin between them and it leaves an impression of the front on the reverse or the reverse on the front or both. Usually a minor error, fun but not worth much.

    There are some nice 1983 P counter clashes (clashed both sides) that in very nice condition, can be in the $40-$50.00 range. I'm talking MS condition though.
