GTG - 1892 Columbian Half

    THESE ARE NICE COINS BUT FOR THE OLD HALF DOLLARS THESE ARE THE CHEAPEST. I GUESS BECAUSE IT WAS A TIME AT THE COLUMBIAN EXPO WHICH PROBABLY SOLD MANY 1892 & 1893, BUT THEY STILL ARE COLLECTABLE COINS

    Not in '66 they ain't.........'65 neither, for that matter, but I find them fun to aquire in their pristine 'raw' and 'worn' state. :)

    Already posted the grade. How can anybody see this coin as an AU coin? Not even close.

    The main problem I have with coins like this is mistaking weakness of strike with wear. I have misidentified Columbians as being circulated by looking at detail in the hair.
