2017 penny error?

    I found this penny in change today. I was wondering what the strange marks are on the obverse. Also does it have any value more than face? Thank you

    Buy the way.. That is a 2007 Cent and not 2017

    Paddyman once again you are more right. Yes it’s the crimping process of rerolling that does it. And it is important that we delineate that because rolls can get that way by a rolling and crimping combined machine OR just a crimping machine. Nice call!
