I found a few while I was in NYC for a week during the end of summer, that was the first and last time I've found any haha. Anyone else notice all of the finger feeder damage on the reverse top-left of the shield? Of the 5 on my desk right now 4 have it.
Well have not seen one yet keep asking banks with no help so I just bought two rolls I was crazy but now I will not look anymore.
The person selling the roll was selling a roll for 2.50 and individual 2017P cents in flips for 25 cents each. Although I was spending more, I liked the idea of maybe finding some really high grades ones or even an error. Worth it for me to blow 2.00 on 'fun' instead of .24 on no fun and what looked like MS64/65 cents, from the glance I took at them.
Finding the 2017 D is a chore if you live on the East coast. I had not found a single 2017 D until my mother came for a visit from Arizona. Im' such a nerd, I asked if I could look through her change. And that is where I found it.
Finding good quality P coins on the west coast is super difficult.... best bet for them coming over is a tourist or military person being transferred in who happens to have some coins on them. But if you pm with your addy, I will send you two 2017P cents.
Ouch, $2.50 a roll. Did you find any high grades or errors? My local bank branch finally came thru with some boxes for me. Have not cracked any of the rolls yet. The hoarder I am of worthless, unopened, cheap metal cents. If I can get a few more boxes and there is any interest, maybe I will list some in the for sale section of CT. They would certainly be listed for less then you paid. Cheers
I found a few that I thought might be higher, will have to revisit it sometime. I put them in flips for now. The rest are in a baggie and I will probably give a few away at some point.
I have still not opened a roll from any of the boxes. Wouldn't know what to look for if I did. Only 1? listing on Wexler for doubled die. Fat letters, hmm.
I have found two from my brothers change that came from his friend that just came back from Philadelphia, all you find in Michigan is Denver coins. Thanks, Jacob
