I got this at a coin show today, but think it’s ID is correct. Says it is a Aurangzeb, but can’t find an exact match. Thoughts?
Looks like the id is correct. Looks like India, Mughal Empire KM#300. There are many varieties. Between 11:00 to11.60 g. There are over eight pages of types and mints in the "Standard Catalog" 1601-1700, 5th edition. Issued under Aurangzeb Alamgir between 1658-1707 AD.
You have the pictures of the coin upside down. The coin is definitely Aurangzeb due to the year lll^ (AH 1118 or 1706/1707AD) You'll have to find the mint name with someone who reads the script. The mint determines the value...
