This is the weirdest nickle I've seen

    I have no knowledge on this one at all is this a machine die problem or is this really an error?. I know it has some pmd, just curious if it's a keeper or back in the bank jar

    All of the striations you see on the reverse are the result of die deterioration.

    It's also around the obverse side to nothing special about hey.

    I love naming coins I’d name this one “alligator in the yard” because of the long lump between United and five on the Rev. I encourage everyone to start a named collection
