Have been adding a number of Quarters and some v cents to the collection but I think these deserve a little mention 1925 5 cents Buffalo standing on mound Indian Head 1935 5 cents Buffalo standing on mound Indian Head 1914d Eagle Liberty head (Barber) 1927 Quarter dollar Standing liberty Eagle in flight Still got a pile of nickles to add LOL
Thank you Mark, they are not all quite as nice as I would like to own LOL but how many of us say this all the time :smile and I do try to upgrade when and were possible :kewl: Have actualy done it today with the 1908 V cent I got a better example so swaped pics LOL
De Orc, Buffalo Nickels and Standing Liberty quarters? What can I say? - probably the two worst designed U.S. coin ever made but on the other hand two of the most beautiful designs. Now how in the world did that happen to be? Like both of them especially the quarters.
I actually like wear on the older coins. I can understand wanting to upgrade, but I actually like what you have. History with those coins.
Unfortunatly the condition of one or two of them means I will have to upgrade but I know what you mean about the wear :smile
Nothing wrong with wear but the first thing to go on those series' is the date. I kind of like a date on it to further enhance the history.
