I think I would give a very similar response to that given to your "1983 Penny DDR" question (to which, along with other similar responses, so far has only received your, "thanks": "You need to [refine] your close-ups; maybe capturing 3 or 4 letters at a time. In addition, it may help if you give us a verbal description of what it is you see that leads you to think that it might be a DDR (it'll help us as to where to focus on)." Semper Fidelis
The circular pattern on the Obverse is damage from a coin wrapper crimping machine... The DDR question...
Geez, I wish people would stop using this drawing describing machine doubling. It is all wrong! The drawing depicts "flat and shelf-like" as being curved. Anyone who knows anything about drafting knows that "flat" is represented by straight lines, not curved lines. Chris
Draw your own diagram I will ask my niece to create a new one.. She is a graphic design/art major student.
