I'm positive this is an RPM, but have no idea which variety it could be. It has a couple errors from a few different varieties, which I think is interesting. I'm considering sending it to John Wexler himself for confirmation, but I'm afraid it will get lost in the mail :nailbiting::nailbiting: Any suggestions? 24139280_10212293720073049_1788245314_o (1).jpg 24115554_10212293720753066_1554527712_o.jpg 1946.jpg 24115443_10212293719673039_122464296_o.jpg 1946c+.jpg

Don't send it. The postage is as much as the value of the coin.

I don't see an RPM. You probably need to post a better close-up of the mintmark. I wouldn't worry about it getting lost in the mail. The stamp is probably worth more than the coin.

I don't understand what you mean by this statement. What couple of errors? All I see is a well circulated Cent. A RPM issue will have nothing to do with another error.

Do you know what a RPM is? How it occurs?

Yes I am aware of what an RPM is...I didn't mean the coin had other errors, I meant it had the errors that were markers for the different varieties of RPMs...and I believe this to be a D/D. My camera isn't the greatest, but the mintmark is very similar to the Wexler RPM-079. 1946b.jpg

It may not be, but what can it hurt to send it in and see for sure?

Let’s play Sherlock Homes here for a moment.
    1. At what magnification are you identifying these anomalies at.
    2. Are you using a microscope, scanner, what?
    3. What exactly is your lighting set up. Fluorescent, incandescent, halogen?
The reason I ask is even under the best of conditions the little smoke and mirrors on the coin can trick the best eye. No really it can be tough at high magnification with bad lighting when your looking at something new to not be tricked.

You're right, the lighting isn't the greatest, maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me :/

Hey it’s ok keep it up, hunt alittle every day you’ll find cool stuff. I found this about a half hour ago going thru some old copper bullion rolls I’d made up years ago! EDF43011-1011-49C8-BB1D-94ABE987BB3C.jpeg
