This Penny has "D's" on Lincoln's face, the date, in the background, and has doubling on the obverse and reverse of the coin. The initials on the reverse also has a "D" on it.

Has anyone seen this before? Is the coin worth anything?
I have several more photos as well.

Plating blisters, it's a zinc plated cent so zinc rot too probably I'm sure @paddyman98 could confirm this if I'm right.

    Thanks,

I vote "barnacles". Looks like a big chunk missing in front of his eye too.

    Zits!
Zinc rot caused by breaks in the copper plate. Common. Spend them before they rot to dust.

Maria, the more you get to look at the lincoln cents, the more you will feel comfortable in seeing these types of things and knowing what they are. The zinc rot everyone talks about runs rampant in these types of coins and it's easy to spot once you have been searching for a while. Until then, feel free to ask questions and we will be glad to help you out! I hope you continue to use this site and glean from the many people on here who have so many years of wisdom to pass on. Welcome!

Plating bubbles that have popped, quite common since they started making copper plated zinc planchets. Your coin is worth 1 cent.

Is that a little bit of a misaligned die strike on that ‘83?
