Yeah, if it stays in the slab, chances are that it will be sold or attempted to be sold as a Proof. By him or someone else.

Also, keeping it like this and pretending to have such a valuable coin handy, with him wanting to make a collection of similarly valuable coins, real or mis-labeled, opens him up for someone to decide they want it and possibly target him or his home.

Perhaps that will never happen, but if someone thinks he has an actual coin valued at that amount, who knows. Owning valuable coins can also require money outlays to keep them safe and sound, such as safe deposit boxes, and insurance. Most collectibles like this are not going to be able to get any sort of value if stolen, or lost in a home burglary or fire, unless it has been declared and insured.

 

People can seek fame for profit, sometimes for themselves, sometimes for others to take away.

With my Insurance nobody in my family will have to work ever ... and as far as all of my tangible assets it's going to be a modern day treasure hunt for them with maps and clues and everything when I go be with my Father..LP

Do you actually think Larry is a CAC member? I dont. Corrct me if Im wrong but dont you need to be a dealer to become a member of CAC and isnt there some other criteria? I know not just anyone can be a CAC member. So I highly doubt he is a member or even sent the coin to CAC.

 

He claims he is a member and sent the coin in himself. So far he's been able to use google to answer some of the basic question correctly. I'm just doing a few more follow up questions. Because, yeah, a lot of us doubt the CAC submission part as well.

No. I just called Kevin Flynn and explained to him that your PCGS mistake wasn't my coin. I don't care what you say or do until you send it back to PCGS for their review as NONE of it matters. Nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch. Why don't you understand that? Oh, wait, you do and you know it's not a matte proof. Its easy to tell if the die markers are there and you surly have checked and they aren't or you would have sent it back to PCGS very quickly to get the cert reinstated. You're a joke.
