Error penny

    I have this weird penny it’s two colors copper over silver or grey. The date says 200

    It's damaged.

    The copper plated has been
    worn or partial removed, so
    you're seeing the zinc planchet.

    (our cents now are copper-coated
    over a zinc planchet, or disk)

    It might have got caught in something
    that wore away the plating.

    .....but it didn't leave the Mint like that.

    What about the date the 200? How did that happen? So it’s worthless

    Yes, part of the damage.....

    Yes, worth one cent only.
