Welcome to CT! First year of the copper nickel quarters, and they made a lot of them. What do you want to know?
I looked it up on google and it talked about the errors with this coin.so im wondering what to look for in this coin
Welcome. Just wanted to let you know that a poll is not required to post a thread so you don't have to do a poll next time if you don't want to.
I believe a very few were struck on silver planchets. You can look at the edge to check for the copper core visible on the correct planchets.
Yes .im just not real sure what some of them mean for sure...i just kinda needed someone to maybe look at it and see if their are any visible errors they see.
They made almost 2 billion of these. As the previous poster mentioned, the rare error is a 1965 silver quarter. The clads weigh 5.67g and the silver 6.25g. Your coin is worth 25 cents.
The kind of errors you will find on these coins are not necessarily visible to the naked eye, but instead refer to coins made on the planchets that 1964 and prior coins were struck from.
