@Mike Drop I have one question for you.......

Do you get paid, or hope to get paid, for these articles?

@cpm9ball No,these aren't planned to be published. If you would like an acknowledgement, I can certainly do that. Just for fun and to show any new collectors I come across.

Sad. Sad because I have never heard of you. Maybe you'll be a fellow to be reckoned with with in the future, but not now. Build your brand. Make your brand more recognizable and reliable. Make yourself more formidable with knowledge. Big thing there. You've got to prove yourself before folks around these parts are gonna take you serious.

There is nothing to be serious or unserious. All a person has to do is type in a tip and done. I ain't trying to prove nothing, just trying to get some help from the more experienced such as yourself.

Beginner- It may be difficult (heck I'm still workin' on it), but you absolutely have to find a good way to organize your coins early on. Or else you will have them everywhere and feel overwhelmed. Stick with one way for some things and maybe a different way for other types of coins or whatever, but changing it up too much makes it hard to stay oriented.

Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced- When you take out a coin from binders, books, etc (maybe to check for varieties) put it back when you are done. May sound obvious but usually you forget.

Then you probably shouldn't have started it off with "I write numismatic articles" which makes it seem as if you are assembling a book for publishing.

I actually took a college course where the instructor had all the students write up science demonstrations and then actually collected them and published a book to which he receives the royalties!!!
