Grrrr... one year older then me and a bigger US collection nice to see fellow young collectors. I bet my ancient collection is bigger then yours . Thanks, Jacob
You should dip your toes into the dark side some time I bet you'd like it. How long have you been collecting? Thanks, Jacob
It was a roman coin that i got for $5. It was in a 2x2 and i got it mixed up with the 2x2s i opened up and threw it in the trash accidentally
Yeah, really unfortunate but it happens sorry about that. And wow 6-7 months and that!!!!!! I've been 5 months and I thought my collection was impressive great work! Thanks, Jacob
No come to my dark side, we have cookies! Jokes aside I love shipwreck coins and I have been having a blast collecting them maybe you both need to look into them
One thing I might suggest, is to look through your foreign coins and pick one you think is a cool design. Then, figure out what you need for a smallish set or collection of them, and whenever you are at a shop or coin show, see if you can find any to add cheaply in the grade you desire. Make yourself familiar with them just as you would with a US set, and pay attention to rarities and errors and prices. You just might find that you really enjoy it, and who knows, maybe you will cherrypick one that has value... $$$ wise.
