    Just looking through some"old" coins and found these for FREE.

    Nickels with "full steps" from 78-93. 78 reverse shown

    Wheats, woodies, silver and a V nickle? I'd say you did pretty darn good! I really like that woody on the left!

    On the 1942, it's a Philly nickel, There is also a rarer 1942-D with the D at 3'oclock on the right of Monticello.
    Then they made silver war nickels 1942- Large P above dome and 1942-Large S above dome.
    There's no regular S 1942 and no silver D 1942.
    43, 44, 45 have all 3 mm's (P,D,S) above the dome.

    @Michael K good to know on the 42. I thought all nickels from 42-45 were silver war nickels. I actually have a one of the silvers I found in change and that's the only reason I even knew they were a thing ha

    The silver nickels will always have the oversized mint mark over the dome.
    The 1942 philly (NO mm) and 1942-D are not silver.
    There is a Henning counterfeit 1944 with no mm, and it's not silver, but it is still very valuable.
