Hello everyone I wanted to share todays coinstar (well actually red box) trip. Well I was heading off to red box at Kroger with my brother and his friend and I was excited to look in the coinstar, I walk in and WOW the bottom of the coinstar was overflowing with coins! So I go over and start shoveling them Into my pockets and I get some very odd looks but as expected. After I'm done shoveling about 80 coins into my pocket I get in line for red box and start looking through the coins, there was a middle aged foreign couple in front of me picking a movie and they couldn't decide for about 25 minutes at this point I was a little annoyed but I had coins to look through! (Mostly Canadian and singapor and US) and then all of the sudden a cashier collapses on the ground she falls her body slammed into the floor and I was shocked I didn't know what to do there was nothing I could do, immediately the man in front of me rushes over to her and turns out he is a doctor she is seizing on the ground he turns her to her side and calls 911 I was really worried there was nothing I could do to help if there was I would've. Meanwhile he was still signed into red box and his wife signed him out and I got my movie and went as I left the paramedics arrived and helped her. I'm unsure of how she is now or anything because I don't know her but I hope she is ok. Well now for a lighter part of the story, the move I got was the new "war of the planet of the apes" movie it was quite good I recommend it and the coin so we're awesome! Unfortunately no silver but a lot of US Canadian and some Singapore in there I still a have to look through the US coins as to why they were rejected but I don't know what to look for they all seem normal :/ (except for one MAD quarter) and the canadians I got 2 loonies 1 2$ coin a bunch of quarters and dimes I got 2 one dollar Singapore and one other I'm unsure of, and a coach tag. Well here are the coins enjoy! (This was the most I've ever scored at a coin star by the way) Also what should I look for in Canadians date wise? Thanks, Jacob
Hey, nice finds! You could always trade those coins for some silver. I sure you did the right thing, it sounds like that guy had control of the situation, and knew what to do.
