Strange mark on cent rim.

    1B58BA98-ADFB-4DF4-9A76-679942495062.jpeg I found this one in pocket change the other day. It may just be a counterstamp but why so small? or maybe a strikethrough or something?

    Looks like an imprint of an E from another coin.

    Oh you’re right it does look like that! So that wouldn’t be an error just PMD?

    Wow! You must really look at your pocket change very closely to pick that up.
    I’m not so sure that didn’t happen outside the mint. The ‘E’ doesn’t look like any of the E’s on any other coinage. It’s just too small.

    It looks like it could be a "B" or an "E" from LIBERTY on another coin that hit the rim.
