    WOW, I gotta get one.

ShopathomeTV just had watches with REAL state quarters in them. Swiss movement and everything!

They retail at $450 but get this - they're selling them for only $79.14 with reduced shipping!

Has anyone else seen this? Wonder how many "cattle" they'll rope with this "rare" scam.

    I know I'm in!

    $79.14 is a bargain !!! I think the $400 ones are " hand layered in .999 clad gold "

    Cherrypick!!!
Wisconsin (or whatever state it was) quarter with the extra leaf.
    Or hands go backwards.
    Or ....

Get a TPG to slab it (I'm sure there's at least one out there that would.)
    MS-69 or -70, of course.
Then list it on "that" auction site.

    So Roto,

Where does one find a good lemming suit these days?

Mine's getting old - got it from Lemming of the BDA.

Right between the cheese shop and the pet store with the exquisite parrots in Westchester.

    Excellent!

I shall stop there and since I'm in the neighborhood perhaps I'll pick up a pound of Venezuelan Beaver's milk cheese and a Norwegian blue (pining for the fjords most likely)!

I'd prefer mine to run slow. Then I always have an excuse for being "fashionably late".

$450 suggested retail price? I wonder what leading numismatic catalog they got that price from. Lately I have been enjoying watching Shaw selling those dragon slayer swords a lot more.

Make sure that wegie's feet are tacked down or VOOOOM, he'll take off for said fjords.

that would be pretty cool if they put old coins in watches instead of the state quarters. could you imagine having a 1916D mercury dime watch? that would be neat!

How would you know it was legit, only being able to see one side ?

You know, I am an entreprenuer and always coming up with ideas. What would be cool is a watch with a coin off to the side or below that does not require a hole in the coin. Something like a digital watch with a dime (smallest denomination) below the read out. That I would probably buy but I would want to be able to swap out the coin now and then.

You could put your 'birth penny' in there. It would be sorta like putting your birth stone in a ring (my mom does this). If the guys would not buy them, the ladies would. It is more sentimental. You can turn a 500 million circulation penny into a couple bucks in a watch.

You know, this is not such a bad idea. It just has to be done right. And not for rip off prices but more reasonable $20 or $30 fot the watch.

A dime would not be too large for a digital watch. You could even make it water proof...

When they do take off his head, do you think that Robert or Shawn from ShopatHome will have a new item, like a Merlin sword with a Statehood quarter watch built into the handle, "layered in .999 Gold"...limited edition of course:D

Those guys are funny and pathetic!
