Looks like clash marks, but doesn't match a typical one. PMD?

That's pretty cool. I don't think that is a clash, maybe more towards an interior die break? not sure. It's pretty odd. Someone will come along shortly.

It doesn't appear to match up with any part of the obverse, so I don't think it is a clash.

Thanks Rick. I don't see a listing for quarters on the site. Maybe I should send this in to them to verify and list, if it is one.

Looks like a shatter die to me ...
How deep are those veins ?

Rick I agree with you on the die break. dchjr
It wouldn't hurt to send it into cuds on coins, and see what Mr. Neff has to say, or not say. If he does not reply to your email, that's his way of saying it's not a cud of any kind.
But if he's going to list it he will send you a return email.

The deepest is on the left side going down the wing (picture #4 above). The right not as deep, but you can still see a 'shelf' between the two areas.

Don't agree with me yet .
Could also be a strike-through, like fiber and not cereal .
    Lol .........

It's not a shattered die, imo.

It appears to be PMD on
    the reverse. Not clashed dies.

Possibly struck over a previously struck coin?
