I am helping a friend try and attribute these two coins, if real I would like to purchase them.
First is a from Ancient Greece says on the flip 400 to 200 BC,
It looks bronze and weigh 1 g and is 10 mm in diameter.
20171107_154227.jpg It looks to have a vase on one side and an Altar on the other. 20171107_154359.jpg

The next I really don't have a clue might be an AlexandXX Pius. And I think it says Provincial (rev)
    It weighs 20.8 G
Sorry I missed the weight had to get to an appointment.
It was a little bigger than a us quarter in diameter. 20171107_154546.jpg 20171107_154520.jpg I could not find a casting seam on the edge. But, something feels a little off on this one, hopefully I am wrong.
Thanks in advance, and hopefully they can become part of my collection if real.

The second is from Severus Alexander, and looks like a Rome minted As.

I am sure the Roman gurus will be along soon to give you the RIC number.

I am eating take out Chinese food and sharing with my dogs so I am a bit pre-occupied.

The Severus Alexander is not an as, rather a sestertius.

Close, but now that the OP posted a weight it's a sestertius.

RIC 642, IMP ALEXANDER PIVS AVG, laureate bust right with draped far shoulder / PROVIDENTIA AVG S C, Providentia or Annona standing left by modius, holding grain ears and cornucopiae. Cohen 503

I agree with Ed on the second one, looks like Thrace Sestos.

Thank you, I was wondering why the SC was different.

Do you mind me asking what I should pay for one of these?
    or approximate value?

I did take two other photos through the flip,
and after seeing EDs thoughts I decided 20171107_185104.jpg to flip the one side 180 degrees. 20171107_185225.jpg Sorry I don't have the coins in front of me, otherwise you would have detailed photos to work with.

Wow, the Thrace Sestos reminds me of what I saw in hand.
Are these made of bronze? I say this because the coin had a very bright yellow that I don't expect on a coin of this age?

The one you posted looks a little rough, and the legends are incomplete. I would also want to see the surface condition, i.e. has the patina been stripped. So with all those caveats, I would probably pay around $50 for it. Here is a link to a CNG search, these are all higher grade than the coin you posted, but give you a sense of where the market is:

I ended up buying the Thrace Sestos coin. I still can't figure out exactly what reference to use. The deposits on the coin are hiding some details. Not to mention how far off flan it is.
Weighs 1 gram and is 9.52 mm in diameter. or .95 cm
