Cleaning coins is both pleasing for the surubber and the serious collector both in the fact that there are more of these detailed coins in existence for that type of collector to enjoy and for me there are less nicer specimens out there which increases the value of the supurb coins in my collection and for that reason so many millions of nice coins have been ruined over the years and prices have risen accordingly.

Just a point of clarification. The OP and the "coin cleaner" are in fact two different posters, while I think what is happening here is that your comment appears to be combining the two entirely separate issues into one, resulting in an inadvertent conflation of questions and answers.

Not to quibble, and I mean that seriously, but I for one am simply not able for one reason or another to follow precisely what it is you are saying here. Thanks.

Cleaning coins is only a pleasure for someone so arrogant as to not care about their responsibility to the future.

In simple terms, when a coin is cleaned it's lost it's soulfulness.

It would indeed be exceedingly difficult to argue with that.

Now I understand you 100%. Thank you so very much for the kindness of your clarification. By the way, I also happen to agree with you entirely, and I must say that was an exceptionally eloquent way to put it. Kudos.

Sorry for posting about cleaning coins on this thread. It has confused the OP's original request. My apologies.

Asked and answered. As the hilarious elderly saleswoman on "Being Served" used to say, "In this I am unanimous."
