1959-P Lincoln Memorial N-S doubling on reverse?

I have some BU 1959-P and have been looking for the DDO's; I turned them over and noticed several of them have what appears to be doubling especially visible in AMERICA. Thoughts?

That is machine doubling, also called mechanical doubling or strike doubling or ejection doubling. It's not worth saving.

How about a image of the designers signature, on the reverse of the coin ...

 

I checked 4 of these and the "F" and "G" look doubled with the "G" actually having a center line thru the arc of the letter. In the top bar of "F" you can see the line.

 

This is a good one .
Check wexler site to make sure .

I believe you are right...it has the same marks on the "ONE CENT" as Wexler's #5.

Make sure when you take your image, their not so + plumb .

 

Here's a #11 I own and notice how plumb the images are .

 

I think it shows up really well in the "E"; notice the ends of the letters in your photo and mine match.

 

Their all pretty close for this year .
That's why I asked for a shot of the designer signature .

It's the best way to tell them apart ..
