Is this a coin or token?

    Hi all, i just found this Philippines coin/token in my sis car today.

    I wonder is it a coin or just a token.

    It have 1998 in the front and 1993.

    Anybody have any clue?

    It's a coin, not an error struck in 1998. Perhaps 1993 refers to the series of when the peso was revalued.

    Better (very) late than never... LOL

    "1993" refers to when the Bangko Sentral (Central Bank) was established anew,
    July 3rd to be exact. As the issuing entity of this coin, the Bangko Sentral's seal
    appears on the reverse, and the seal understandably includes the agency's date
    of (re)birth. :)
