Very sad news about Steve. I wish him good luck with treatment, and I'm spreading the word about his coins on offer.

Thank you for posting this @greekandromancoins ! I had no idea that our friend Steve was engaged in such a desperate battle with cancer. Thank you for the clarification @Pishpash ! I pray for his victory over the disease and for his and for his family's well-being! May his fighting spirit and with the help of the Father conquer his affliction and restore him to health. Please share (if you see fit) with him the prayer that I have PM'd to you.

 

Absolutely depressing news.

Man, there are so many awesome coins in that collection! I kept saying things like "Oh, there's steve's cool knight coin!"

Steve's one of the reasons I started collecting coins in the first place, it was awesome to run into someone that had so much fun collecting coins.

Steve I wish you a speedy recovery!

I am extremely saddened to hear this - hang in there steve!

I am a two-time survivor of cancer myself - I am blessed that the disease has not come back after two years. If I can offer any advise to you it would be not to lose hope, stay positive! and try to get as much fresh air and physical exercise as your body will allow.

 

I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting Steve... but I wish him the best.

I was wondering why I had not seen any posts from Steve...they were always full of humour, plus your coins were a delight to see. I am praying for you my friend, I can imagine you will win your battle and be back with all your friends, here on the "Ancient coin forum", and to build another fantastic collection!

Extremely sorry to hear this. I loved his postings. I've just agreed a price on his Otacilia hippo. It was no bargain, but a coin I dreamed of owning after seeing it posted here. I have a similar taste in coins and I'm obsessing over the other listings. There's one that I underbid, but is a bit too expensive. Trying to decide what else I can afford. Who needs to eat?

 

that hippo coin is the most famous and desired one (to me anyway) on here. congrats.
